Earthwatch is an international environmental charity which is committed to conserving the diversity and integrity of life on earth to meet the needs of current and future generations.
Their mission is to engage people worldwide in scientific field research and educaiton to promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment.
Earthwatch works with a wide range of partners, from individuals who work as conservation volunteers on research teams through to corporate partners, governments and institutions.
The Institute has a global reach with offices in Boston (USA), Oxford (UK), Melbourne (Australia) and Tokyo (Japan).
Earthwatch Institute recognizes the importance of supporting an independent, objective research and engagement programme. They aim to work in partnership with corporations and organizations that are committed to promotion action necessary for a sustainable environment and are therefore aligned with and support Earthwatch's mission.
Earthwatch's Corporate Environmental Responsibility Group provides a cross-sectoral forum to support and encourage companies to develop the quality of their environmental performance.
