Two international players have been signed to the Scarborough Rugby Club thanks to our innovative sponsorship. The Auckland forwards Matty Jones and Fraley Hopa began their careers with top club North Harbour U19s before moving up the rugby ladder. 'Pindar AlphaGraphics' yacht helps local community project in the US Pindar has been working alongside the Community Boating Center, which is a non-profit, recreational organization offering all members of the community an opportunity to sail. We hosted a hands-on learning activity day for youth sailors and free public youth tours of our 50 ft racing yacht, 'Pindar AlphaGraphics' in Providence, Rhode Island. Progress in our sponsorship We are delighted with the success of our sponsorship of Scarborough Rugby Club and the way it has developed. Since the initiative started in May 2005, considerable progress has been made in expanding youth rugby in the local area. Pindar mentors to spread Scary's message We thought it was about time to update you on Scary Guy, the world-renowned motivational speaker, with a mission to make the world a better place. Pindar's relationship with Scary Guy first began last year, when we decided to help fund a unique educational initiative in association with George Pindar Community Sports College. This is aimed at improving performance and behaviour amongst children in Scarborough schools.
