Pindar Wins Two BPIF Excellence Awards

Pindar scooped the UK Company of the Year and Corporate Social Responsibility categories of the BPIF Excellence Awards 07.

Some 500 guests celebrated Pindar's successes along with 17 other firms and individuals picking up awards at the event, jointly organised by the BPIF (British Print Industries Federation) and Printing World. The two organisations joined forces to celebrate the best business and personal performance in the UK printing industry, at the Royal Lancaster hotel in London on the evening of Thursday 14 June.

Andrew Pindar collected the two industry gongs from Emily Maitlis, host of the BBC's "Newsnight" programme.

Andrew Pindar commented "It's always a great honour to collect awards on behalf of the company and its' staff for our outstanding achievement in the UK printing industry, especially when the awards recognise business performance, innovation, employee development and training and for the positive impact we all have on our local communities around the world. It was also great that Vin Almond's contribution the Company and the print industry were recognised by being highly commended for the lifetime achievement award, as was AlphaGraphics Leeds for E-business".
