16 AlphaGraphics business centers achieve FSC certification

Following our news that AlphaGraphics is the first US print and visual communications franchisor to obtain the FSC's multi-site chain of custody, 16 of our US business centers have now achieved the certification.

These centers were part of a pilot group that also played a part in helping us to set up the process and procedures that needed to be put in place to achieve multi-site chain of custody.

Since we launched the FSC program to the network on 1 May these 16 centers in Arizona, California, Colorado and Utah led by David and Mary Sue Orpin in Nashua, New Hampshire, have the certification.

"As visual communication providers, our business centers consume a large volume of paper products, and we are very sensitive to the need to use sustainable sources that support responsible forest management worldwide," said AlphaGraphics CEO Kevin K. Cushing.

"FSC Certification demonstrates our commitment to environmentally responsible practices, and it allows our franchisees to demonstrate their commitment as well."

We now look forward to encouraging and supporting other business centers who take the plunge to get certified to the program.
