Ian Williams is World Number One
Ian Williams, today became the World Number One match racing sailor. In confirming first place at the head of the ISAF World Match Race Rankings, Ian knocked Sebastien Col (FRA) off the top spot, a position he has held for the past seven months. This is the first time any British sailor has led the ISAF World Match Race Rankings in the history of the classification, crowning Ian as the nation's most successful match racing sailor.

Mills 2nd at Princesa Sofia Trophy Olympic Regatta
Hannah Mills, one of Britain's most promising young Olympic sailors, this week finished second Briton at the 38th Princesa Sofia Trophy Olympic Regatta. Sailing with crew Katrina Hughes in the women's 470 class in Palma, Majorca, Hannah has proved her formidable talent in this class, which places her as a real contender for the 2012 Olympic Games.

Ian Williams wins Marseille Intl Match Race British match racing sensation Ian Williams of 'Team Pindar' won the Marseille International Match Race, after 2-0 final against Frenchman Pierre Antoine Morvan. Williams' result means he will take first position in the ISAF World Match Race Rankings, the best ever placing for any British sailor.
