Pindar in the Community
Historically, the Pindar Organisation has been heavily involved with the local community through the governance of Scarborough as Mayor and Alderman (George Kyte Grice Pindar).
More recently this work has continued with our Lifetime President, Tom Pindar. Tom has been a champion of the development of Scarborough through his work with the town team, and has been a governor of several schools and colleges including the Pindar School and has supported St. Catherine's Hospice. Tom’s daughter Margaret Lumby and Caroline Pindar continue these activities today.
Now as a global organisation with locations across the world we still continue to look for opportunities to support our local communities that inspire young people to focus on and achieve their aspirations; and help share good practice among other businesses in the location.
