Selecting Pindar as its choice content management vendor, Keith Bisogno, Director of Marketing Services, at Thermo Fisher Scientific says ePublishing enables the company to manage data and rich content more effectively, and more efficiently produce multi-lingual and multi-product-line catalogs versus traditional approaches.
Whether for print or electronic output, Pindar helps deliver better and more targeted catalogs to sales teams and customers. Production of a 2600 page catalog used to take 19 months, but now takes only 7 months.
Thermo now produces 40 - 50 catalogs per year and more than 500 other publications as well as managing almost 500,000 webpages using our content management system. It certainly is a global team, with servers located in the US, product managers in the UK and production staff in France, and publications are produced in multiple languages and currencies.
