Pindar selected as finalists for GO Procurement Awards

Pindar, along with customer Hampshire County Council has reached the finals for the Best Service category in the National Government Opportunities Awards. 

The GO Awards recognise excellence in public procurement and will be judged in London on 4th June 2009. The Best Service category award recognises innovation, expertise, value for money, and the delivery of better public services for the taxpayer through the joint working of a public sector body and its contracted supplier. 

Pindar and Hampshire County Council have demonstrated excellent service provision through the design and production of printed and electronic catalogues to publicise and supply goods and services provided to schools, colleges, libraries, care homes, district councils, fire and police, community and voluntary organisations. This work is planned and managed by the County Council’s Corporate Procurement & County Supplies unit. The contracts were awarded to Pindar for the production and printing of annual multi-sectioned A4 catalogues and to implement and roll-out an on-line catalogue.
