Musto Launch New B2C Catalogue

Musto, the world's leading sailing and country sports clothing brand, has just launched its first B2C catalogue. The catalogue follows the launch of a transactional website in March. As a result of this multi-channel approach the company has seen a significant lift in sales, and extended brand recognition to a greater audience.

Pindar provided an end to end solution for the twice yearly catalogue supplying design, print and mailing.

Musto was founded in 1965 by Keith Musto, a British Olympic sailor and engineer. He combined his sports and technical expertise to create products to withstand even the most extreme conditions. Today, the company is still a technical clothing supplier for sailing, riding and shooting, and specifically targets active out-door men and women with their new range of technical clothing for everyday wear. The catalogue endorses the campaign with great effect, marking a new strategy to increase awareness of the brand through individual sales.

Director of development, Bozena Birt commented, 'as this was our first consumer mailorder catalogue and timescales were quite tight, it was easier and more efficient to have one company supply the whole project from start to finish. Overall, the catalogue is still a new venture for us and it will continue to evolve as we evaluate its performance. It certainly plays an important role in growing our direct and retail businesses.'
