Shropshire County Council is to launch a new rural Demand Responsive bus service called ‘Shropshire Link’ in the autumn and Pindar has won the contract to provide a complete package of travel information services.
The services we will be providing include:
o Design expertise, text and cartography for the ‘Shropshire Link’ Zone Leaflets.
o Creating Core Service leaflets, using our expertise in timetable production, origination, route diagrams and design
o Posters promoting the ‘Shropshire Link’ service using mapping, design and origination skills
The intention of ‘Shropshire Link’ is to improve less frequent bus services by making them more flexible to people’s needs and to enhance core service routes by providing a more frequent bus service between major market towns’.
'We have always received excellent and timely service from Pindar. This coupled with their past experience in designing and printing transport publicity material, particularly for demand responsive services, set them apart from other companies in the field.
“Shropshire Link is a major change for transport users in Shropshire and signifies the launch of an innovative new system. We needed to ensure the publicity material matched the quality of the product. We look forward to working with Pindar in delivering this now and into the future.'
