Perfect Binding

Our Muller Martini Norm binder features include

Automatic Signature Image Recognition (ASIR) system to eliminate incorrect feeds from the binding process

  • Electrostatic pinning for precision insertions
  • Ability to add up to five loose inserts

Some of the Muller Martini Corona C12 features are

  • ASIR system
  • Book block feeding station to create extra thick publications
  • Dual gluing facility

In addition, the recent acquisition of a second Corona C12 has enabled us to offer

  • Up to six loose inserts per publication
  • Card gluing (for attaching high value inserts such as CDs)
  • Static nailing for precision stacking and delivery
  • Automatic stacking and wrapping

Depending on required durability, we can offer standard hot-melt binding or the premium option PUR (polyurethane reactive) gluing which delivers a long-life bound product.

High-speed stitching lines

Our stitching machines ensure a highly efficient solution for the processing of catalogues and brochures, capable of completing 18,000 catalogues per hour. Specific features include

  • Five-knife trimming and loop stitching
  • High-speed section log feeding, gathering, stitching and trimming
  • ASIR and Copy Control
