Computer to Plate

Our CTP technology has shortened the plate making cycle by allowing the direct output of digital files onto the plate. Prepress

This translates to better registration and repeatability with fewer defects, while increasing sharpness and detail on the plate and subsequently the print with a first generation dot.

The Environment

The elimination of film and processing, which is common place across the industry, has not only significantly reduced the use of chemicals but has also improved print quality and consistency using fewer processes.

PDF Workflow

Supplying artwork as Print Ready PDF files is not always as trouble free as it should be. We provide preference files for all the major applications as well as technical support to make the transition from your creative department to our pre-press team as smooth as possible.

Staccato Screening

Moiré has previously given printers problems with particular images and designs. We offer Staccato FM screening which successfully removes these problems delivering finer detail and an extended colour gamut free of moiré.

Approval

Our proof for content system is an efficient use of time and allows files to be uploaded and downloaded securely via a web browser to the Prinergy workflow system.  Corrections can be requested and the final proof approved electronically, saving time and ensuring the approval process is tracked and secure.

GMG colour proofing

Once approved the PDF is run through the GMG proofing system.  All proofs follow the ISO specification for digital proofing ISO 12647-7 and colour proofs are produced to the colour standard 39L (FOGRA standard).

From start to finish all colour processes are managed to ISO standards. This includes the inks, proofing and print processes.
