Asset Management

AgilityCMS® is a product information management (PIM) solution designed to manage all of your product data and includes standard asset management capabilities.

Even more elaborate Asset Management capabilities are included in the optional WebImage module. With the asset management capabilities in AgilityCMS, you can manage images, logos and technical sheets, and even sound and video files. Assets can be easily linked to a SKU or multiple SKUs.  Assets can be automatically imported through hot folder management. Workflows can be set up to organise the collection, management, approval and distribution of assets.

With WebImage, users, including company employees, vendors or customers who, given the appropriate access rights, can securely search, view and order assets for download via a web browser. By managing assets in a secure central repository, however, you will never lose control of the assets and the way they are distributed.

WebImage can be set up so that it is integrated into your company intranet, or even as a public image bank. Users interact with WebImage via a web interface -- even for administration and system handling -- making WebImage very easy to deploy and implement.

With WebImage, image format conversions are made centrally, which means they are always performed according to the same set of specifications. Users may order and download images based on bespoken presets for a specific use, such as print or PowerPoint.

Users of WebImage also have access to advanced functionality such as automatic on-the-fly conversion. The administrator can set up conversion profiles with configured resolution, scaling, and ICC profiles. This makes it easy to format images for print, web or presentation graphics. WebImage can also handle PDF files, Word documents, QuarkXPress® or Adobe InDesign® pages, and even video and sound files.

WebImage users can configure the interface to meet their needs and set up metadata fields and categories. The software also lets the user decide who can access what and the functions they’ll be able to perform. And since metadata values can be set by rules, these values can be automatically applied as assets are added to WebImage.

Finally the reporting capabilities within WebImage allow you to keep full control over the process, with all user activity traceable to help monitor the usage or facilitate internal charge backs and invoicing.
