AgilityCMS is a state-of-the-art Product Information Management (PIM) solution, developed on an open architecture to integrate with your other enterprise systems. The key methods of integration and data exchange include:

Import/Export Wizards

Import and Export wizards step a user through the processes of importing and exporting data to other systems, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), BI or CRM systems or to web sites. Users can export and import data in delimited text or XML formats, and the software can trigger XSL transformations to meet any data format requirements.

Content Gateway

Content Gateway is an easy-to-configure integration interface to view content, such as sales data and inventory levels, stored in other business systems. Content Gateway provides a real-time view of external content without the inconvenience of having to replicate data. Content Gateway can integrate with external data sources via a JDBC link or by triggering a configured database-stored procedure or an Enterprise Java Bean (EJB). Content Gateway can provide read-only or read/write integration depending on the access rights and privileges you assign.

The integration options outlined above provide huge opportunities.  For example, on a daily basis you can monitor the effectiveness of all your printed and on-line publications by combining sales data directly from your order processing system with the square-inch analysis reports generated by AgilityCMS.  This will enable you to identify your top selling products and make timely decisions on how and through which channels to feature them. 

Software Development Kit (SDK)

The optional SDK includes documentation of the Java Application Programming Interface (API) and data schema. Using this development kit, companies can readily integrate with other software solutions and also extend the software to meet specific business requirements and incorporate the business logic within bespoken solutions.

Web Services API

The AgilityCMS® Web Services API provides a way to access any of the product data stored within the system using XML commands via an http connection and the results come back in the same way. Web Services API is the perfect tool to enhance the functionality of AgilityCMS and to create configured import or exports, reports, web user interfaces, or to create links to other business systems.
